Our History
Heartland subdivision was developed by Jagoe Homes and is one of Owensboro’s most prestigious communities. Each of our 12 neighborhoods has its own unique architectural style and characteristics.
The development of our lovely community started in 1998 and since then has grown to include 774 homes. Within the brick entrances that welcome residents and guests to each of the 12 neighborhoods, you will find wide boulevards with beautiful landscaping and premier homes. The Heartland subdivision has walking trails, pocket parks, a mini playground park with gazebo, and bike trails that connect to Owensboro’s Greenbelt Bike and Walking Trail. Laying in the middle of the Daviess County Public School district, Heartland children will attend Highland Elementary, Daviess County Middle, and Daviess County High School.
